Why Kick Off in Montreal?

Ever wonder why we officially started our year of international travels in Montreal, Canada? The answer is simple: good peeps!

We spent July 2019 making our way West in the States, visiting family & friends (Cape Cod & California) and scouting out potential landing spots/visiting friends (Colorado & Seattle). We ultimately wanted to be in Europe for a batch of Summer weeks to overlap with close friends. Montreal was the perfect jumping off point. Not only was it between San Francisco (our final US leg) and Europe (our next destination), but more importantly, it’s where one of my closest friends, Dan, lives. Win, win!

Slowing down & spending quality time with people we care about is what this year is all about.
