We dropped down to sea level in San Francisco after a great week in Denver with the Zeiger family.
We picked up our rental car and headed straight from SFO into San Francisco for what has become a fun California visit tradition, a sleepover with the Jasik family - Benji, Carolyn, Emma & Sophie. Benji and I have been great friends since the late 80s, growing up together on the tough tennis courts in Palo Alto ;)
The four girls quickly got into their groove, the older Jasik girls leading the way. Hard to believe they only see each other 1x/year.
Sunday Night Dinners
While I was playing tennis, often practicing in San Francisco, Sunday night dinners in the early 2000s with a rotation of friends became a tradition at Benji & Carolyn’s. The sleepovers have taken over since kids, a great way to keep the tradition alive.
Last Minute Amazon Orders
With this leg of the trip being our last US stop, we would quickly be losing the ultimately convenience of Amazon Prime. After discussing my tech specs with Benji, my-ultimate-tech-guru, I quickly placed an order for various charging attachments, etc. to make travel more convenient and compact. I always welcome Benji knowledge on any subject.
Where Will the Next Sleepover Be?
Don’t know for sure, but there was chatter of the Jasik family coming to visit us on the road during Emma & Sophie’s Spring Break 2020. We sure hope so!
