Wanted to acknowledge with gratitude our home-away-from-home in Faroe. It was located only about 5 minutes outside of Tórshavn (Faroe Island’s largest city), but it felt like a world away. There was no trace of the city within site; our green & red Airbnb farm stay home was surrounded by green pastures, grazing sheep & squawking geese. The fog would be thick in the mornings and gone by the afternoon. It was such a gorgeous, peaceful spot.
We practiced our sheep sounds to lure over the grazing sheep.
We picked wildflowers and made bouquets for the kitchen table.
We ate breakfast & cooked dinner each day at the house (often packed lunches for our days off exploring).
Doug took a run to explore the area.
Paige clocked some jump rope sessions on the deck.
We snoozed.
We played card games.
We gazed out and enjoyed the gorgeous views (my personal favorite).
This magical place was a highlight of our time in Faroe Islands, for sure.
