Wanted to acknowledge with gratitude our home-away-from-home in Faroe. It was located only about 5 minutes outside of Tórshavn (Faroe Island’s largest city), but it felt like a world away. There was no trace of the city within site; our green & red Airbnb farm stay home was surrounded by green pastures, grazing sheep & squawking geese. The fog would be thick in the mornings and gone by the afternoon. It was such a gorgeous, peaceful spot.

  • We practiced our sheep sounds to lure over the grazing sheep.

  • We picked wildflowers and made bouquets for the kitchen table.

  • We ate breakfast & cooked dinner each day at the house (often packed lunches for our days off exploring).

  • Doug took a run to explore the area.

  • Paige clocked some jump rope sessions on the deck.

  • We snoozed.

  • We played card games.

  • We gazed out and enjoyed the gorgeous views (my personal favorite).

This magical place was a highlight of our time in Faroe Islands, for sure.
